Urinary incontinence is a condition when a rabbit is unable to control their urination, which is usually observed as accidental urine leakage and urine scald.
Symptoms
- Urine scald
- Dribbling small amounts of urine when picked up or in atypical areas outside of the litter box.
Causes
- Damage to the nerves that control bladder function
- Arthritis
- Bladder stones
- Encephalitozoon cuniculi
- Renal disease
- Spinal injuries
